Does this look like something you want to eat? We just finished planting in our first COOPERATIVE urban farm location on 19th Avenue and Maryland in Phoenix AZ. A cooperative means that people become members of the farm and help decide what they want to grow. Growing Rogue then does all the planting watering and harvesting, the members simply show up to grab their grub!

We want to get this thing kicked off right so we are providing memberships for half of what they normally cost! Here is an example: If you are a person that lives by themselves you would want the basic package. That will provide enough food for you to eat until you are full every day! The normal package cost is $99 per month which gives you the right to vote for what we plant at the farm and allows you come to all of our events for FREE! If you are one of the first 50 people to sign up, we will cut that price in half! That means that you get all of the produce you need for the month for only $49!!

We’ve been noting some questionable behavior on the part of Craigslist lately, including its change in policy in which it tried to claim an exclusive license to everything you post on the site. This was of dubious legality already, and it appears that Craigslist has realized that it was going way too far. It’s now dropped the exclusivity requirement, though has remained (typically) quiet about its thinking. Hopefully this is a sign that the company is actually paying attention to the public outcry about its recent bullying techniques.
